J. Anomaly is an independent hip-hop/rap artist from New Haven, CT, who releases music under his own imprint, Elm to Ivy Records. He got his start making music in 2018, and released his debut album, A Moment Shared, in 2019. J. Anomaly strives not only to be creative musically, but in the design-world as well. He designs his own artist merchandise, dubbing each new installment an addition to his clothing line. Though his success is a product of hard work and perseverance, J. Anomaly credits not only his family, but, more importantly, God, for helping him develop into the person he is today. And how would J. Anomaly define exactly who that person is? To him, it boils down to one word. He’s not a rapper, he’s not a musician, he’s not a designer… he’s a Creative. A Creative who desires to inspire and knows that he can do anything he imagines as long as he keeps Jesus Christ in his heart.
